Berlusconi compared his rival with Hitler

Silvio Berlusconi once again hit the public on Tuesday, comparing his opponent in the European Parliament elections with Hitler. Speaking in the evening television show Mattino Cinque, the former prime minister compared the leader of the Five Star Movement, Beppe Grillo, with a number of historical characters.

“The Italians should be wary of Grillo. You see, the way he organizes his movement reminds me of the actions of Robertspierre, Marx or Lenin, ”said the media tycoon, referring to well-known political figures in France, Germany and Russia. “Grillo is the prototype of these personalities,” Berlusconi added, “he is like Hitler.”

It is worth noting that the opponent of the scandalous ex-prime minister is also not so simple. For example, he recently hit the front pages of newspapers after he wrote a poem that mimics the work of the Jewish-Italian writer Primo Levi, “Se questo e 'un uomo” (“If this is a person”), which is based on tragedy The Holocaust. Grillo composed his own vision of the work, calling it “Se questo e 'un paese” (“If this is a country”), where he hinted that Italy is a country controlled by the mafia and Masons. The leader of the Five Star Movement immediately found himself at the center of the scandal. He was condemned not only by people who survived terrible times, but also the whole world.

However, later the politician hastened to assure that when writing his poem he did not mean anything offensive, moreover, Grillo even seemed upset because his work was so appreciated. “Primo Levy is one of the greatest writers of the century, he wrote an amazing book. I admire him and respect what he wanted to say, that everything needs to be alert, that the Holocaust can be very close. ”

Earlier, Grillo “distinguished himself” by another contradictory remark when, during his business trip to Pompeii, he advised prostitutes to offer their services on-line. According to the politician, this is how local women of easy virtue will be able to protect themselves one hundred percent. Moreover, the leader of the Five Star Movement even recommended prostitutes some porn sites where they could post their offers on providing services of an intimate nature. “There are different websites,” said Grillo, “” if you go to the YouPorn website, you can choose the category you like, thereby avoiding dangerous links. Pay and get while staying incognito and staying at home. ”

Another statement by Silvio Berlusconi shocked the people of the country a few days after the scandalous politician said that the Germans refused to recognize the existence of concentration camps. The former Prime Minister of Italy was criticized not only by Germany, but also by other states that called on the 77-year-old Berlusconi to apologize to the German people. The German government called the ex-prime minister’s comment “absurd,” and Jean-Claude Juncker, candidate for the post of president of the European Commission, demanded that the politician take his words back. However, Berlusconi said yesterday that he did not understand the reaction of others to his statements, and assured that he was a friend of Germany, Israel and all Jews.
