Of particular interest to tourists is the 85-meter tower of the town hall, it has an elevator, and the Glockenspiel on the tower is a popular tourist attraction. Every day, at 11 o’clock, people wishing to listen to the clock fight gather at Glockenspiel, and in a special bay window 32 figures represent scenes from the legends of Munich.

On the same square is the building of the Old Town Hall, built in the 15th century. This is an example of true late Gothic. Today, a large part of the Old Town Hall Square is occupied by a toy museum.
